Hiring JavaScript Engineer for mobile web app (Client/Server)

We are looking for an experienced JavaScript engineer to work with our small, but growing, team. You will be helping us build and deploy mobile apps for iOS and Android devices, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This is a contracting role, but could transition into a full-time position.

We need someone to work with another front-end engineer on modular engineering focused mainly on the client side to manage accounts (e.g., profile management, account settings, following list management, and followers list management), retrieve S3 assets and populate views (e.g, posts and comments), etc.

Requirements

  • You’ve helped build mobile consumer products from the ground up.
  • Browser expertise: Modern components with ECMAScript5/6, HTML5, CSS 3.
  • Server expertise: Modular engineering with HTTP and WebSocket streaming at scale.
  • Experience with AWS is a huge plus.

We’re headquartered in Santa Clara, but we live on Slack, Hangouts, and GitHub. So, we’re flexible on work location (imagine that!).
